Vacation Package – Guest Acknowledgment
Thank you for choosing RusTeak Living for your Getaway. We look forward to sharing the beauty, culture, nature, and Pura Vida lifestyle of Guanacaste with you.
By submitting your reservation and payment, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Reservation & Payment
A $1,000 non-refundable deposit per guest is required to secure your reservation.
The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment schedule provided at the time of booking.
The deposit may be considered for a refund only in exceptional emergency circumstances, at the discretion of RusTeak Living.
2. Cancellation
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
Because accommodations, activities, transportation, meals, and other services are arranged in advance, payments are generally non-refundable once received.
In the event of an exceptional emergency, RusTeak Living may review the circumstances and determine whether a partial or full refund is appropriate.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes trip cancellation and interruption coverage.
3. Trip Inclusions
The Discover Costa Rica Getaway includes the accommodations, meals, activities, excursions, wellness experiences, transportation, and other services specifically described in the itinerary and booking information.
The itinerary provided at the time of booking represents the planned experience for the trip.
4. Itinerary & Outdoor Activities
The itinerary is designed to provide a well-rounded Costa Rican experience while allowing for some flexibility.
Outdoor activities may have slight changes according to group preferences, weather, local conditions, availability, or other circumstances. Any changes will remain aligned with the original itinerary and overall experience of the trip.
RusTeak Living may modify, substitute, reschedule, or adjust an activity when reasonably necessary. When possible, a comparable alternative will be provided.
5. Participation in Activities
The getaway may include hiking, beach outings, swimming, water activities, wellness activities, sports, nature experiences, cultural activities, and other outdoor experiences.
Guests participate in these activities voluntarily and are responsible for following safety instructions provided by RusTeak Living, guides, instructors, transportation providers, and activity operators.
Guests should consider their own physical abilities and comfort level when participating in activities and may communicate with the RusTeak Living team if they have concerns or need an adjustment.
6. Guest Responsibility, Injuries & Accidents
Guests acknowledge that travel, outdoor activities, and use of the RusTeak Living property may involve inherent risks, including slips, falls, swimming, hiking, transportation, sports, and other recreational activities.
Guests participate in the trip and its activities at their own responsibility and agree to exercise reasonable care and follow all safety instructions provided by RusTeak Living, its staff, guides, and activity providers.
RusTeak Living will not assume responsibility for injuries, accidents, loss, or damages resulting from a guest’s participation in activities or use of the property, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Guests agree not to hold RusTeak Living, its owners, staff, or activity providers liable for injuries or accidents arising from their participation, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
Guests are responsible for determining whether they are physically able to participate safely in any activity and should communicate any relevant limitations or concerns to the RusTeak Living team in advance.
7. Health, Allergies & Dietary Restrictions
Guests are responsible for informing RusTeak Living in writing before their arrival of any food allergies, dietary restrictions, special dietary requirements, mobility considerations, or other conditions that may affect their participation in the trip or activities.
While RusTeak Living will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies that are communicated in advance, we cannot guarantee that meals will be completely free from allergens or cross-contamination.
Guests are responsible for determining whether they are physically able to safely participate in the activities included in the getaway and should communicate any relevant limitations or concerns to the RusTeak Living team before the trip.
8. Accommodation & Property
Guests will stay at RusTeak Living Boutique Hotel according to the accommodation included in their reservation.
Guests are expected to respect the property, rooms, furnishings, gardens, pool, common areas, staff, and other guests.
Any damage caused by a guest or member of their party may be charged to the guest.
9. Guest Conduct
We ask all guests to contribute to a respectful, peaceful, and enjoyable environment.
Guests agree to:
- Respect other guests, staff, guides, and local communities.
- Follow reasonable safety instructions.
- Respect the property and its surroundings.
- Avoid excessive noise or disruptive behavior.
- Follow the property’s smoking and alcohol policies.
- Refrain from illegal or unsafe activities.
RusTeak Living reserves the right to ask a guest to discontinue participation in an activity or, in serious circumstances, leave the property if their behavior creates a safety or significant disruption concern.
10. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings, including passports, money, electronics, luggage, and other valuables.
RusTeak Living is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
Guests are encouraged to keep valuables secure and maintain copies of important travel documents.
11. Travel Documents
Guests are responsible for having valid passports, visas, travel documents, travel insurance, and any other documentation required for their trip to Costa Rica.
12. Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances
Costa Rica’s weather and natural conditions may occasionally affect planned activities or transportation.
RusTeak Living may make reasonable adjustments to the itinerary when necessary due to weather, road conditions, safety concerns, provider availability, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Our goal is always to maintain the spirit and overall experience of the original itinerary.
13. Transportation & Third-Party Activities
Some transportation, excursions, and activities may be provided by independent local operators.
RusTeak Living works with trusted providers and will make reasonable efforts to coordinate a safe and enjoyable experience. However, schedules and services provided by third parties may be subject to change.
14. Photography & Media
During the getaway, RusTeak Living may take photographs or videos for use in promotional materials and social media.
If you prefer not to appear in promotional photographs or videos, please let us know before or during your stay.
15. Guest Acknowledgment
By completing your reservation and payment, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
- You understand that the itinerary may be adjusted slightly while maintaining the overall experience described.
- You understand that outdoor and travel activities may involve normal risks associated with participation.
- You agree to follow reasonable safety instructions and respect the property, staff, guides, other guests, and local communities.
- You have notified RusTeak Living in writing of any food allergies or dietary restrictions before your arrival.
- You understand the payment and cancellation conditions described above.
- You accept responsibility for your own participation in the trip and its activities.

Verification & Signature Instructions
Please complete the Guest Agreement by uploading a clear copy of your valid government-issued photo ID and signing the agreement through Adobe Acrobat Sign. Both the ID upload and signature are required to complete your agreement.
Click the link below, please attach your ID in the field “attachment” at the end of the form and securely sign the Terms via Adobe Sign.
By checking clicking on the sign button, Guest is consenting to the use of an electronic signature in lieu of an original signature on paper.
